On 15 February 2018, Representative Francis Kuo-Hsin Liang hosted a reunion dinner for the 25-member Dance Department delegation from the National Taiwan University of Sport who are in Singapore to perform at the River Hongbao 2018 Festival.
During the dinner, Representative Liang extended a warm welcome to the student performers. He thanked them for their role in promoting Taiwan’s culture and way of life through their performance, and also for their sacrifice in giving up spending time with their families during the festive season. Additionally, Representative Liang urged the student performers to seize the opportunity of their visit in Singapore to broaden their horizons and experience the host country’s multicultural diversity.

The National Taiwan University of Sport Dance Department was also invited by the Singapore Kim Mui Hoey Kuan to the association’s Lunar New Year Gathering on 17 February 2018. The student performers’ dance performance at the event contributed significantly to creating a festive atmosphere, and wowed both the association’s President, Mr. Chua Kee Seng and the crowd of 150 guests.
