Taiwan’s chief Representative to Australia Mr. Douglas Hsu attended the opening ceremony of The 6th Taiwan Film Festival and spent a pleasant and relaxing afternoon with friends from Australian government, business community, universities, and diplomatic corps together.

Representative Hsu gave a remarks before the screening, extending gratitude to organizer’s efforts to make this meaningful event possible. He introduced that the art works of Taiwan's movies, unlike those of Hollywood style with light and sound effects, present Taiwan through their unique lens of cinema for viewers to take on a journey of imagination and to take away with better understanding of Taiwan.
