Ambassador Hsu and Madame attended the Taiwan Chamber of Commerce in Australia’s(TCCA) AGM Gala Dinner, where he delivered a keynote speech on “Taiwan-Australia Partnership: The Current Status fund Outlook”.
Ambassador noted that he has been actively enhancing awareness of Taiwan since he firstly arrived in Australia last August, and Taiwanese business community play a critical role.
Australia is a like-minded partner in the Indo-Pacific with significant potential. Taiwan and Australia shared the same value and a deep foundation in economic and trade. Taiwan is Australia’s fifth-largest trading partner, while Australia is Taiwan’s largest importer of natural gas and other energy resources.
Ambassador Hsu also shared some recent major developments in Taiwan-Australia cooperation, including recent visits of Australian parliamentary delegations to Taiwan, the signing of science and technology cooperation arrangement.
Ambassador Hsu hopes that the friends in the Chamber can work together with us to promote Taiwan-Australia cooperation and deepen the relationship.
