TECO in Auckland Attends “3 Steps for Life” Basic First Aid Course Held by The New Zealand Taiwanese Community Emergency Assistance Association

On the afternoon of August 31, the New Zealand Taiwanese Community Emergency Relief Association invited St. John to hold a “3 Steps for Life” basic first aid course. Division Director for Overseas Community Affairs Council Chiu Ya-fen, and Commissioner Mr. Shih Chen-chia, among 30 attendees, participated in the event. The seminar emphasized the importance of remaining calm when assisting someone in need and following the three steps: “Call 111 for help, perform CPR, and use an AED.” During the session, questions were answered as needed. At the end of the seminar, participants practiced on mannequins and AED machines, engaging in lively interactions. The attendees gained substantial knowledge and practical experience.
