The Formosa Club Indo-Pacific was launched May 7 via a videoconference involving Foreign Minister Jaushieh Joseph Wu, Deputy Foreign Minister Tien Chung-kwang and a selection of the 250 lawmakers from 17 countries and territories who have joined the grouping.

The World Health Organization has designated 2021 the International Year of Health and Care Workers, and launched a year-long campaign under the theme “Protect. Invest. Together.” In order to echo this theme and continue expanding Taiwan’s visibility in the global public health sector, the TaiwanICDF will host the Webinar on Strengthening the Public Health System for Maintaining Essential Health Services during the COVID-19 Pandemic on May 25, 2021 at 19:00 Taipei Time/13:00 Geneva Time.
