Taiwan shares its medical expertise with Eswatini.
Ocean Affairs Council Minister Kuan Bi-ling attended the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation’s Ocean-Related Ministerial Meeting (AOMM) April 30 and May 1 in Busan, South Korea.
Attaining the highest available standard of wellness is a fundamental human right in the eyes of the World Health Organization (WHO). It is a principle shared by Taiwan and one the government is constantly working to realize, in part through institutions like the National Health Insurance Administration, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year and covers nearly the entire population.

The Taiwan Technical Mission (TTM) in Indonesia is breaking new ground through an agricultural training initiative. Since March 2025, the TTM has been providing agricultural training at Karawang Prison to support the Indonesian government’s efforts in boosting local agriculture, while facilitating inmate reintegration in West Java. This initiative marks the first time in nearly five decades of local experience that the TTM has entered a correctional facility to deliver vocational training.
