Taiwan-Vietnam Education Forum wrapped up Dec. 21 in Hanoi, underscoring the commitment of the government to expanding related exchanges and strengthening friendship with the New Southbound Policy target country.

3rd airline taps Taipei-Da Nang route in 1 week

EVA Airways started direct flight services between Taipei and Da Nang in central Vietnam Saturday, becoming the third airline in the past week to eye the travel potential of the coastal tourist destination. There were over 700,000 outbound visits from Taiwan to Vietnam between January and October, up 10 percent from last year, according to Tourism Bureau statistics.
