President Tsai delivers 2022 National Day Address

President Tsai Ing-wen on the morning of October 10 attended the ROC’s 111th Double Tenth National Day Celebration in the plaza fronting the Presidential Office Building, and delivered an address titled “Island of Resilience: A Better Taiwan for the World.”

On the morning of October 7, President Tsai Ing-wen addressed the opening of the 2022 Yushan Forum. President Tsai said that through the New Southbound Policy, which is at the center of Taiwan’s Indo-Pacific strategy, we are working to bolster our security and economic ties with partners across the region. She added that as we enter the post-pandemic era, the New Southbound Policy will also be Taiwan’s pivotal regional policy for Asia.
