Annual Thai Festival to color Taipei with live cultural entertainment

An annual Thai Festival organized by the Thailand Trade and Economic Office (TTEO) will be the biggest in years when it arrives in Taipei next month with food and live cultural entertainment flown in directly from Thailand.

Second-generation Immigrants are Encouraged to be Ambassadors for Society

Since 2019, the second-generation immigrants have been sought out as ambassadors by National Immigration Agency Taipei City Service Center in an effort to increase national awareness of the diverse ethnic communities, serving as a bridge for cultural exchange between Taiwan and their nations. The “Second-generation Immigrant Ambassador 2.0 Power Building Project’s” recruiting will now formally begin, and the deadline will be March 20. Welcome all the second-generation immigrants to sign up.

Registration for New Immigrants and Their Children’s Empowerment and Award (Incentive) Scholarship Program Starts from Today

National Immigration Agency of the Ministry of the Interior is specifically responsible for the 111th school year new immigrant and their children’s training and award (reward) scholarship plan in order to provide rewards for underprivileged and exceptional new immigrants and their children across the country. The period of registration is from February 20th, 2023, until March 20th, 2023. Registration is open to eligible new immigrants and their children.

Every February, Baguio, located in the northern section of Luzon Island in the Philippines, holds a float parade to welcome the start of spring. NIA Chiayi City Service Center hosted a family education and legal publicity course for new immigrants. Filipino new immigrant (羅戴娜) was invited to share the multiculturalism of her home country while also assisting new immigrants in understanding the most current regulations developments.
