MOC and ArtsEquator collaborate to spotlight regional art criticism

The Cultural Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Malaysia and ArtsEquator collaborated to invite 11 arts writers and critics from Southeast Asia to Taiwan in mid-April. On April 19, they attended the 2025 Observer Forum hosted by the Taiwan Contemporary Culture Lab (C-LAB), where they engaged in in-depth conversations with Taiwanese art professionals and organizations.

NMTL to kick off ‘2025 United Nations of Stories’ on Apr. 26

The “2025 United Nations of Stories (2025故事聯合國)” program, hosted by the National Museum of Taiwan Literature (NMTL), will open on Apr. 26. This year, the program will feature picture books and stories from Taiwan, the U.S., India, Belgium, the U.K., and South Korea, offering magical and exciting cultural adventures for children across the country.

Taiwan and Thai performance artists engage in international dialogue

Supported by the Cultural Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Thailand, Taiwanese artist Chen Jun-yu (陳俊宇) and curator Chou Yu-heng (周妤衡) collaborated with Thai artist Dujdao Vadhanapakorn to host a workshop from Mar. 29 to 30. The workshop explored different perspectives on the death penalty in Taiwan and Thailand, extending into issues of power and the psychology behind punishment.

The Cultural Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Thailand participated in the 2025 Bangkok International Book Fair, held from Mar. 27 to Apr. 7. The division showcased a wide range of publications from Taiwan, including Taiwanese literary translations and winners of the Golden Butterfly Award, the most prestigious award for book design in the country.
