NIA offers a service hotline 1990 for foreigners living in Taiwan

To make the service hotline consistent and easier for foreigners living in Taiwan to memorize, National Immigration Agency (NIA) has changed it to 1990. The hotline provides instant consultation services in 7 languages for immigrants and foreigners in Taiwan. The service includes Residence Certificate Act, immigration, interpretation, social welfare, medical and health, tax, transportation, etc.

MOL unveils ‘one-stop migrant worker service center’ in Taoyuan

The Ministry of Labor (MOL) on Saturday inaugurated a “one-stop migrant worker service center” in Taoyuan aimed at simplifying the submission and processing of paperwork filed by the employers of migrant workers.

“Paint for Human Rights – 2022 Poster Design Competition” Selected Works Released

In order to promote the awareness of human rights education, the National Human Rights Commission of the Control Yuan (Taiwan) has organized the inaugural “Paint for Human Rights – 2022 Poster Design Competition.” Designers and students were encouraged to participate and to illustrate the universal values of human rights, while the theme of the poster design had to incorporate the concept of human rights.
