2022 Taiwan-The University of Sydney Scholarships awarded to five Taiwanese students

Taiwan-The University of Sydney Scholarship is co-funded by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of China (Taiwan) (MOE) and the University of Sydney. Up to five PhD scholarships is available each year. Five Taiwanese recipients awarded this scholarship in 2022.

A retired couple in Taiwan, who did not want to be named, has since 2019 funded the construction of school buildings in Myanmar through the Chit Myit Tar Foundation (CMT Foundation), a charitable organization in Myanmar.

She praised the Chamber for maintaining the momentum over the past 2 years despite the impact of the pandemic, and congratulated Erica Liu, the TCCA President and her strong team for their astounding resilience.
