NMP showcases Taiwanese Indigenous artists at Guam Micronesia Island Fair

With support from the Ministry of Culture, the National Museum of Prehistory (NMP) participated in the Guam Micronesia Island Fair (GMIF) on June 7 and 8 as part of an Austronesian cultural exchange program. The NMP brought along Indigenous cultural representatives, including the Taiwan Amis Polyphonic Youth Band (阿美族複音青春歌隊), the Wind Voyagers of Changbin (長濱船團), artists Iyo Kacaw and Nakaw Putun, among others, aiming to foster connections among diverse communities through cultural dialogue.

The 74th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting will take place from June 29 to July 4, 2025 in Lindau, Germany. More than 630 young scientists from 84 countries have been invited to attend and engage in discussions with approximately 35 Nobel Laureates. Among them, three outstanding young scholars from Taiwan have been selected through a rigorous international process to represent the country at the event.
