Michelin Guide announces Bib Gourmand list for Taipei, Taichung

The Michelin Guide has released its annual list of value-for-money “Bib Gourmand” restaurants in Taiwan, with a total of 91 establishments in Taipei and Taichung earning the distinction.

The 2021 APEC International Workshop on Food Adulterated with Drugs and Illegal Products, under the auspices of Taiwan Food and Drug Administration, takes place on August 10-11 with the continued support of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC). The workshop brings together scholars and experts from France, Belgium, Australia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, the Philippines, Japan, and Taiwan to exchange insights and facilitate further collaboration.

CECC confirms 8 more COVID-19 cases, including 3 domestic cases and 5 imported cases

Regarding the five new imported cases, they are two men and three women, aged between 10 to 69 years old. They arrived in Taiwan from France (Case #15899), the United States (Cases #15900 and #15901), Indonesia (Case #15904) and Switzerland (Case #15906), and arrived between June 28 and August 8.

“Asia Connection: Producers Camp” to cultivate the next generation of producers

The “Asia Connection: Producers Camp” jointly planned by National Theater and Concert Hall (NTCH), Esplanade-Theatres on the Bay, Museum of Performing Arts, National Theater of Korea and Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre will be launched at the end of August, while holding a 3-week online workshop to cultivate the next generation of Asian-minded producers.
