4th Taiwan Film Festival Berlin to showcase the diverse faces Taiwanese people

The 4th Taiwan Film Festival Berlin (柏林台灣影展) organized by the Impression Taiwan (映像台灣), and sponsored by the Ministry Culture and Taipei Representative Office in the Federal Republic of Germany, will select 16 pieces of work for screening from August 20 to 29 this year.

Regarding the one new imported case, Case #15641 is a Croatian boy under the age of 10. He and his family arrived in Taiwan from Switzerland on June 28. He was tested on July 10 before completing the home quarantine period, and the test result was negative. His family member (Case #15370) was later confirmed to have COVID-19, and the health authority then arranged for him to self-isolate at another place.

CECC to lower epidemic alert level to Level 2 from July 27 to August 9; CECC urges public to continue following epidemic prevention and control measures to protect health of people in Taiwan

On July 23, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that it will lower the epidemic alert to Level 2, effective from July 27 to August 9, and that ministries and councils/commissions under the Executive Yuan may issue respective guidelines in accordance with the CECC's general principles; in line with the CECC's general guidelines, local governments may also make appropriate adjustments to epidemic prevention rules based on the COVID-19 situation in the respective city or county.

Regarding the three new imported cases, Case #15601 is a Taiwanese boy under the age of 10. He returned to Taiwan from China on July 8. Case #15612 is an American man in his 20s. He traveled to Taiwan from the US for work on July 20. Case #15617 is a Taiwanese male in his 20s. He returned to Taiwan from United Arab Emirates (Dubai) on July 20.
