MOC to launch “2021 National Language Development Conference”

The Ministry of Culture held an online press conference for the upcoming “2021 National Language Development Conference (國家語言發展會議)” on July 21, inviting the Ministry of Education, the Hakka Affairs Council, and the Council of Indigenous Peoples. The MOC hoped to discuss issues related to national language development through public participation to come up with measures that will help revitalize endangered national languages.

CECC confirms 25 more COVID-19 cases, including 16 domestic cases and 9 imported cases

Regarding the nine imported cases, they were all men between 20 and 79 years old. They arrived in Taiwan from the Philippines (2 cases) and Indonesia (7 cases). They arrived in Taiwan between June 24 and July 20.

CECC confirms 24 more COVID-19 cases, including 18 domestic cases and 6 imported cases

Regarding the six imported cases, they were four men and two women between under 10 and 49 years old. They arrived in Taiwan from Myanmar, the US (three cases), and Indonesia (two cases), respectively. They arrived in Taiwan between July 5 and July 19.
