Regarding the one new imported case, Case #15370 is a Croatian girl under the age of 10. She arrived in Taiwan from Switzerland on June 28. She was tested for COVID-19 on July 10 before completing the quarantine period, and infection with COVID-19 was laboratory-confirmed in the case on July 12 (the CT value was 33).

On July 12, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that starting July 13, all foreign workers will be again allowed to change employers or jobs. However, the dispatch of foreign workers to another work site and the assignment of additional work responsibilities to foreign workers will remain suspended given the relatively high mobility of foreign workers. Such policy will be reviewed based on the status of the pandemic.

ITRI and the UK’s ORE Catapult Sign MoU to Enhance Taiwan’s Offshore Wind Generation Ecosystem

With support from the Bureau of Energy under the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) and the British Office in Taipei, ITRI and the UK’s Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult (ORE Catapult) on July 6 signed the Memorandum of Understanding on the cooperation of offshore wind generation.

Regarding the three new imported cases, Case #15342 is a Taiwanese male in his 30s. He returned to Taiwan from Saudi Arabia on July 8. Case #15351 is an over 30-year-old male sailor from the Philippines. Case #15353 is a Taiwanese man in his 40s. He returned to Taiwan from Indonesia on July 10.

Regarding the two new imported cases, Case #15299 is a Taiwanese female in her 30s. She arrived in Taiwan from Italy on June 25. Case #15319 is a Taiwanese man in his 20s. He arrived in Taiwan from Belgium on June 26.
