On June 25, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced 76 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Taiwan. All 76 cases are indigenous. The CECC also announced five deaths today.

She was then tested for COVID-19 on June 22 before the end of her quarantine period. Infection with COVID-19 was laboratory-confirmed in the case on June 24.

In light of the pandemic, the 2021 Green Island Human Rights Art Festival (2021綠島人權藝術季) has been moved online, with the National Human Rights Museum (NHRM) launching a series of online events at the end of June as an addition to the physical exhibition.
