Government-funded COVID-19 vaccine available to fourth priority group as of April 14, 2021

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to ravage the globe, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announces that beginning April 14, 2021, the government-funded COVID-19 vaccine is available to individuals in the fourth priority group, i.e., those who must travel abroad due to special circumstances such as diplomatic personnel and other personnel engaging in official business and athletes and competitors representing Taiwan overseas.

CECC confirms 4 more imported cases; cases arrive in Taiwan from Bangladesh, the Philippines, Ethiopia, and Ireland

On April 13, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced four new confirmed imported cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Taiwan. Those four new cases arrived in Taiwan from the Bangladesh (Case #1060), the Philippines (Case #1061), Ethiopia (Case #1062), and Ireland (Case #1063).
