CECC confirms 6 more imported cases; cases arrive in Taiwan from Paraguay, Ireland, the UAE, the Philippines, and Indonesia

On April 1, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced six new confirmed imported cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Taiwan. Those six new cases arrived in Taiwan from Paraguay (Case #1032), Ireland (Case #1033), the United Arab Emirates (Case #1034), the Philippines (Cases #1035 and #1037), and Indonesia(Case #1036).

On March 31, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that after assessing the number of vaccine doses administered in Taiwan, it would begin to offer COVID-19 vaccine to Group 1 people listed in the COVID-19 vaccination program, including registered medical personnel, non-medical personnel at healthcare facilities and personnel at group quarantine facilities, on April 4.
