In order to assist importers and exporters in understanding the current status of the international economy and trade trends and heeding related risks, the Kaohsiung Office of the Bureau of Foreign Trade (BOFT) under the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) has organized two seminars to serve enterprises in central and southern Taiwan.
The Malaysia–Taiwan Counseling Teachers Training Workshop was held in Perak in Malaysia from January 8 to January 10, 2021 with the collaborative assistance of the Education Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Malaysia, and the Organization of Taiwan Education and Cultural, Malaysia.
On February 25, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced five new confirmed imported cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Taiwan. Those five new cases (Cases #948-952) are five female migrant workers from the Philippines, with their ages ranging between 20 and 40 years old. They traveled to Taiwan on the same flight on February 3 and arrived without symptoms.
