On February 3, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) reported that a large-scale cluster infection of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) with unknown sources of infection occurred in Vietnam recently, and the Vietnamese authorities indicated there would be a risk of second wave of infection in the country. In consideration of the status of the COVID-19 pandemic in Vietnam, the CECC has moved Vietnam to its list of medium-risk countries/regions from low-risk countries/regions.

On February 3, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced two new confirmed imported cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Taiwan. Those two new cases, Case #917 and Case #918, arrived in Taiwan from Indonesia.

CECC confirms 3 more imported COVID-19 cases; cases arrive in Taiwan from the US, Japan, and the Philippines

On February 2, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced three new confirmed imported cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Taiwan. Those three new cases (Cases #914-916) arrived in Taiwan from the United States, Japan, and the Philippines, respectively.
