Taiwan’s half century under Japanese colonial rule (1895–1945) represents an important thread in our island’s cultural fabric. The many buildings still standing from this period are a physical record of this history.

Healthy eating is one of the key issues for the elderly. In response, Health Promotion Administration of Ministry of Health and Welfare in collaboration with APEC, hosted an international conference today, focusing on three main themes: nutrition policies, empirical research, and AI applications. The conference provided a platform for exchanging experiences on promoting healthy diets and age-friendly environments for the elderly.

The “Histories and Archives of Independent Art Spaces of Asia (亞洲獨立藝術空間歷史與檔案)” international symposium, co-hosted by the Ministry of Culture (MOC), Asia Art Archive (AAA), and Taiwan Contemporary Culture Lab (C-LAB), will take place from Apr. 11 to 13.

A delegation from Taiwan is participating in the 2025 Asia-Pacific Association for International Education Conference underway in Delhi, India, highlighting the government’s commitment to promoting higher education ties with India and regional countries.
