On December 14, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced four new confirmed imported cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Taiwan. Those four new cases arrived in Taiwan from the Philippines (Cases #738 and #739) and Indonesia (Cases #740 and #741).
Nose-flute master Pairang Pavavaljung, a “living national treasure” who represents the Ravar group of the Northern Paiwan people, uses the music of the nose flute to tell the legends and stories of Taiwanese indigenous people. In support of the Bilingual Nation 2030 policy, the Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) encourages banks to set up bilingual branches, enhance the English proficiency of staff members, and create a friendly bilingual financial services environment. Last December, the FSC arranged visits to DBS Bank Taiwan’s Tianmu Branch and Mega International Commercial Bank’s Lanya Branch.
