On December 9, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced 2 new confirmed imported cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Taiwan. Those 2 new cases arrived in Taiwan from Myanmar (Case #720) and Indonesia (Case #721).

On December 9, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced 2 new confirmed imported cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Taiwan, Cases #720-721). As of writing, a cumulative total of 113,230 cases related to COVID-19 have been reported in Taiwan among which COVID-19 has been ruled out in 111,291. Of these reported cases, infection with COVID-19 was laboratory-confirmed in 720 cases.
