On December 2, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced 6 new confirmed imported cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Taiwan. Among those 6 new cases (Cases #681-686), three came to Taiwan from Indonesia, two traveled from the United States, and one arrived from France.
Labor Minister Hsu Ming-chun says that Taiwan is looking for new sources of migrant workers. That’s as Indonesia moves to introduce a policy that would make it more expensive to bring in its nationals as migrant workers.
