CECC confirms 24 more imported COVID-19 cases; cases arrive in Taiwan from Indonesia, the US, the UK, and the Philippines

On November 30, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced 24 new confirmed imported cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Taiwan. Among the 24 new cases, 20 came to Taiwan from Indonesia (Case # 653, Cases #655-668, Cases #672-676); two traveled from the United States (Cases #670-671); one(Case #654) traveled from the United Kingdom; and one (Case #669) visited from the Philippines.

On November 30, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that it would temporarily suspend entry of all Indonesian migrant workers coming to Taiwan to work for two weeks, from December 4 until December 17, in response to the escalating coronavirus situation in Indonesia and to ensure domestic epidemic prevention efforts and to reduce imported infections through Indonesian migrant workers.
