On November 22, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced six new confirmed imported cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Taiwan. Among those six cases (Cases #613-618), four arrived in Taiwan from Indonesia, one arrived from the United States, and one traveled from the Philippines.
The virtual 2020 APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting (AELM) was held on Friday November 20 from 8:00 PM to 10:50 PM (Taipei time), the first time since APEC’s founding in 1989 that the meeting was conducted via videoconferencing.
