CECC confirms 5 more COVID-19 cases; cases travel to Taiwan for work from India, Indonesia, and Philippines

On November 2, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced five new confirmed imported cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Taiwan. Those five cases (Cases #560-564) are all foreign nationals who traveled from India, Indonesia, and the Philippines to work in Taiwan.

On October 30, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced one new confirmed imported case of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Taiwan. The new case is an over 30-year-old man from the Philippines (Case #555). The case entered Taiwan from the Philippines on October 15.
