CECC confirms 1 more imported COVID-19 case; asymptomatic Indonesian migrant worker found to have COVID-19 after taking self-paid test

On October 28, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced one new confirmed imported case of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Taiwan. The case is a female migrant worker from Indonesia in her 10s (Case #551). The Indonesian woman entered Taiwan on October 7. She has not developed any symptoms since arrival.

Presidential Office thanks US government once again for announcing an arms sale package for Taiwan

The US government notified Congress regarding a military arms sale of Harpoon Coastal Defense Systems to Taiwan on October 26.
