On October 16, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced four new confirmed imported cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Taiwan. Those four cases are two males and two females from Indonesia with their ages ranging from 10 to 30 years old. They entered Taiwan for studies on September 30.

On October 15, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced one new confirmed imported case of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Taiwan. The new case is a Filipino migrant worker in his 30s (Case #531). The case entered Taiwan on September 17. He hasn't developed any symptoms since arrival.
