On October 1, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced one new confirmed imported case of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Taiwan. The new case is a Taiwanese man in his 40s (Case #515). The case and his family lived in Indonesia for an extended period of time, and his most recent departure from Taiwan was in June 2019. The case and his family members returned to Taiwan on September 29, 2020.
