No customs declaration or import approval required for 250 masks or less on inbound passengers

In response to the new border control measures for masks, inbound passengers carrying 250 masks or less (medical and non-medical) are exempted from import approval and customs declaration through the Green Lane.

CECC confirms 1 more COVID-19 case; Filipino man found to have COVID-19 before end of quarantine period

On September 25, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced one new confirmed imported case of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Taiwan. The case is a Filipino man in his 30s (Case #510). He visited Taiwan for work on September 10 and showed no symptoms upon arrival. The Filipino man had his specimen collected at the airport, and the test result came back negative. The Filipino man experienced diarrhea on September 21 and September 22.

“A massive COVID-19 outbreak among Vietnamese in Taipei City” is false internet rumor! Spreading fake news is a legal offense

Recently, a false rumor of “a massive COVID-19 outbreak among Vietnamese in Taipei City?” in Vietnamese has been circulating on the Internet, claiming that Taiwan is imposing an emergency lockdown after 250 Vietnamese people in Taiwan were infected with COVID-19. The Central Epidemic Command (CECC) points out that it is fake news, and urges the public not to spread the rumor.
