Co-produced TV shows airing in 4 NSP target countries spotlighted by MOFA

Four TV shows showcasing Taiwan’s cultural, social and technological highlights are being broadcast in New Southbound Policy target countries, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sept. 15 in Taipei City.

CECC confirms 3 more imported COVID-19 cases

On September 17, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced three new confirmed imported cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Taiwan. The three new case are all Taiwanese nationals. They are an over 40-year-old female (Case #501), an over 20-year-old female (Case #502), and an over 30-year-old male (Case #503).

On behalf of the Importers and Exporters Association of Taipei (IEAT), Representative Andrew Lee of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Brunei Darussalam hands over 2,400 medical masks to Brunei Darussalam BIMP-EAGA Business Council(BD BEBC) on 16 September, 2020. The masks are accepted by Pengiran Haris Duraman, Chairman of BD BEBC. This donation represents IEAT’s friendship towards BD BEBC and demonstrates its determination to join BD BEBC to fight against COVID-19 pandemic.

Travelers allowed to bring in 250 face masks

Travelers who bring in no more than 250 medical or non-medical grade face masks when they arrive in Taiwan will not have to declare them to customs or provide an import permit, Economics Minister Wang Mei-hua (王美花) said Wednesday.
