MOE unveils 2020 Yushan scholars and young scholars

CECC confirms 5 more imported COVID-19 cases

On July 28, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced five new confirmed imported cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Taiwan. Of the five new cases (Cases #463-467), four arrived in Taiwan from the Philippines, and the other one arrived from Hong Kong.

CECC announces contact tracing details regarding Thai migrant worker

On July 28, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced the findings of the investigation into a Thai migrant worker found to have coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) after he returned to Thailand. According to the investigation, the migrant worker is an over 30-year-old male who had visited Taiwan for work in January of 2018. The Thai migrant worker returned to Thailand on July 21, 2020.

On July 27, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that Taiwan received a notification from Thai authorities this noon that a migrant worker who returned to Thailand from Taiwan has been confirmed to have coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). After contact with Thai authorities, the CECC has obtained information on the confirmed case. The case is a Thai migrant worker who worked in northern Taiwan.
