Taiwan on Wednesday announced a further easing of its border restrictions to allow students from Laos and Cambodia who are due to graduate this year to return to the nation, according to the Ministry of Education (MOE).

CECC reports no new cases of COVID-19, keeping total at 447

Taiwan reported no new cases of the new coronavirus COVID-19 on Wednesday, leaving the total number of cases at 447 since the outbreak emerged late last year, according to the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC). To date, 438 of Taiwan's 447 COVID-19 patients have recovered, seven have died and two remain in hospital quarantine, Health Minister Chen Shih-chung (陳時中), who also heads the CECC, said at a press briefing.
