On June 15, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced two new confirmed imported cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Taiwan. Cases #444 and #445 are an over 50-year-old male and an over 40-year-old female, respectively. The two cases are a couple, and they visited Bangladesh for work in the second half of January and the first half of March, respectively.
The Ministry of Foreign Affair’s 6th Trending Taiwan Short Film Competition is accepting entries from June 15 to July 31. This year, in addition to the existing open category, which encourages entries that showcase Taiwan’s unique local stories, a new pandemic-prevention category has been added.
China Airlines is planning to increase international flights in July. That’s after suspending flights on many routes in March, due to the pandemic. Beginning in July, China Airlines will also increase flights to cities in Asia, including Tokyo, Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, and Penang. It will also increase flights to cities in the US and Europe, including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Amsterdam and Frankfurt.
After one year’s study in the Republic of China (ROC) (Taiwan), the students of the ‘Industry-Academia Collaboration Program for Indonesian 2-year College’ (hereinafter referred to as 2+i Program) are expected to participate in enterprises from August to September 2020, to take off-campus internship courses in order to refine functional competency cultivation and experience the enterprise's workplace culture. For the first time, our nation established the 2+i Program in the form of government-to
