Chiayi County encourages Filipino travel agents to visit Alishan in an effort to draw in Filipino visitors

In collaboration with Welcome Holiday Travel Service Co., Ltd. of Kaohsiung City the Chiayi County Government extended an invitation to over ten Filipino travel agency operators to form a tour group and visit the tourism attractions of the Alishan Mountains. The Chiayi County Government hopes that business operators can promote Chiayi County tourism after returning to the Philippines.

2023 Global HealthTech Connects Taipei - Building a Startup Platform with Taipei Entrepreneurs Hub

To attract international startups and foster collaboration with local businesses, Taipei City is promoting the Taipei Entrepreneurs Hub (TEH) as the brand for the city’s international startup community. Today, on the 10th, TEH hosted the “2023 Global Health Tech Connects Taipei” at t.Hub, with the theme of Greater Health. 6 selected international startup teams, along with 6 Taipei startups, including Taipei Biotech Award-winning teams, have been invited to participate in this grand event.

New Taipei City visited to Singapore today to participate in the “2023 IDC Future Enterprise Awards” Asia-Pacific Awards Ceremony. The New Taipei City Government competed with more than a thousand of projects from 12 countries in the Asia-Pacific region, including China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea, Australia, etc., competing together for 18 categories of awards, with the result of winning the most awards out of all the Asia-Pacific region.

New Taipei Launches City Diplomacy Receiving 30 VIPs from 6 Countries to Enjoy the Taiwan Design Expo

In order to deepen international exchanges and promote New Taipei City’s key policies and events, the New Taipei City Government invited 30 distinguished guests from 6 countries, including Paraguay, Guatemala, the United States, Switzerland, Hungary, and Indonesia, to attend the “2023 Taiwan Design Expo”. The VIPs included delegations from New Taipei City’s sister cities and friendship cities, ambassadors and representatives to Taiwan, and foreign visitors.

Kaohsiung City targets Chinese and Muslim tourists from Southeast Asia and promote Taiwan tourism in Singapore and Malaysia

Targeting Chinese and Muslim clients in Southeast Asia, the Kaohsiung City Government Tourism Bureau recently hosted overseas promotional events in Malaysia and Singapore with hotel, catering, travel agencies, and other enterprises. In an effort to boost Taiwan’s tourism, it also introduced the “International Tourist Group Subsidy” scheme. At the same time, work to attract more visitors from abroad to Kaohsiung.

The “2023 Multicultural Forum” was hosted by the Taoyuan City Government on August 10. Along with Mayor Chang San-cheng (張善政) of Taoyuan, Mayor Darren Power of Logan, Queensland, Australia, Mayor Koizumi Kazunari of Narita City, Japan, and Aznifah, the Representatives from Malaysia, they were all invited to attend and give briefings, share their experiences promoting multiculturalism and ethnic integration in various nations, and learn from other people's experiences abroad.
