GO SMART 2023- General Assembly Takes you Know the Opportunities and Insights into International Trends in Smart Cities

Global Organization of Smart Cities (GO SMART) holds a “General Assembly” every year during the Smart Cities Summit & Expo (SCSE) to facilitate communication among members from around the world. The goals are to unlock opportunities for cities and industries, help smart city workers find suitable partners, and promote international collaboration among smart cities.

The 2023 Taiwan International Orchid Show Officially Kicks Off, Foreign Representatives In Taiwan And Overseas Media Congregate In Tainan For The Event

The grand opening ceremony of the 2023 Taiwan International Orchid Show was held on Mar. 3. Tainan City Government invited 14 foreign representatives in Taiwan to attend as special guests. Ten correspondents from well-known international media stationed in Taiwan also came to cover the event.

The 2023 Central Taiwan Lantern Festival was held in Central Park at Shuinan for the first time this year. The Taichung City Government invited ambassadors from friendly countries such as Paraguay, Honduras, Saint Kitts, and Nevis, as well as distinguished guests from Thailand, the United States, and Japan to visit. Deputy Mayor Guo-Rong Huang represented the government to receive them.

India Taipei Association Director General Mr. Gourangalal Das and Deputy Director General Mr. Dhananjay Singh Yadav visited Tainan Mayor Huang Wei-che on Jan. 5. The Chiayi County Government formed a group of 35 people with the Tourism Bureau, MOTC and 22 Taiwanese companies to participate in the International Travel Exhibition (ITE HCMC) in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and fully promote Taiwan's most beautiful mountains, in order to deploy business opportunities of tourism after the opening of the border in advance. Vietnamese travelers are cordially encouraged to relive the sea and plain scenery of Taiwan.

To celebrate the 40 years of cherished relationship, Tainan City Mayor Huang Wei-che and City of Gold Coast Mayor Tom Tate each recorded videos to convey their best wishes to the other city.
