Mr. Chern-Chyi Chen, Deputy Minister, Ministry of Economic Affairs, attended the 26th APEC SME virtual Ministerial Meeting on 23 October and presented on the topic of “Strategy of SMEs’ Digitalization in the New Normal Era.” Mr. Chen shared Chinese Taipei’s experience in responding to SME development during COVID-19.
The Chung Tai Museum opened in Puli, Nantou County in 2009, and in 2016 the Chung Tai World Museum was completed, with the original building serving as its Wood Sculpture Gallery. The museum’s collections are the result of more than 30 years of collecting and restoring religious art, based on the vision of the “Five Directions of Spreading Buddhism” of Venerable Master Wei Chueh, founder of the Chung Tai Chan Monastery.
On October 22, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced four new confirmed imported cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Taiwan. Those four new cases (Cases#545-548) entered Taiwan from Indonesia, the Philippines, and Turkey.
